There are over 500 households in the WHCCA area, divided into 18 neighborhood blocks designated with letters A through R. Each block has a volunteer Block Captain who leads various community activities.
If you are not connected to your block’s captain, please contact BlockCaptainCoordinator@whcca.org.
How you can help
Community building requires the participation of all residents. While block captains work towards the following goals, they can’t do it all alone.
Feel free to ask your block captain how you can contribute:
- Welcome new neighbors
- Communicate; deliver emails and newsletters
- Block watch
- Disaster preparedness (see this page for more info)
- Optional activities (e.g. hosting a block party)
