Crime Prevention
- Crime activities in WHCCA: WHCCA neighborhood is considered very safe, but we still see occasional crime activities, such as car prowling and package thefts. See the latest data at Crime Trends Dashboard of Bellevue Police Department (BPD)
- Call 911 if you notice something suspicious, even if a crime has not yet been committed. (For example, if you wake up at night and see someone lurking around the neighborhood, it’s better to be safe and report it. A BPD Crime Prevention Officer recommended this.)
- Report any incident, no matter how small.
- BPD non-emergency line: 425-577-5656.
- MyBellevue App
- Online form
- Block Watch: One of the most effective ways to prevent crime is through community cooperation, neighbors looking out for one another. The city offers a helpful brochure on Block Watch programs. Our WHCCA neighborhood block is an ideal fit for this initiative, and we strongly encourage residents to get involved.
